Gulrukh Khan
Gulrukh is a multi awarded international film maker, writer, holistic specialist, gender and animal rights activist, public speaker and high level conference organiser.
She has directed, produced and scripted a diverse range of short films, education videos and documentaries over 25 years. She has won awards in Cannes and New York for her films.
Her ‘Mantra for the New Millennium’ film was shown at the UN Peace Summit in the presence of Kofi Anan and was the signature film at the ‘Festival of Light’ in Alexandra Palace, London, in the presence of Ex Prime Minister Tony Blair, his cabinet and 2000 business leaders.
Her other awards include Lifetime Achievement in Film, Best Documentary Feature (NY), Best Spiritual Film (Cannes), Ambassador for Peace, Iconic Women Leaders Creating a Better World, Women Super Achiever Award, Exceptional Female Award, Wintrade Sponsor Award, Stardust Award, Mayor’s Award and Women Awarding Women Award.
She has been a regular speaker at the House of Lords (UK Parliament), UN events, Women Economic Forums and has spoken at the World Forum in the Hague, amongst other World class global events.
She is Co Founder of Inclusion Convention CIC – an interdisciplinary Think Tank, and Talks4Progress a platform which holds international panel discussions with dignitaries and business leaders.

Best known for having trained the ‘Flipper’ dolphins for the original television series, and more recently for his Oscar winning documentary ‘The Cove” in 2010, is a central figure throughout the series. His presence is highly charismatic. He is renowned for his work in dolphin rehabilitation. Richard O’Barry, of International Dolphin Project, admits that due to his previous work as a trainer, the concept of training dolphins became a commercial enterprise. He feels responsible. He enlightens the viewer about what finally happened to the ‘Flipper’ dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium after the series ended, including ‘Hugo’, the first Killer whale who was also held there. He discusses the issues concerning the captivity industry. His dialogue is provocative and mesmerizing. He also discusses the covert use of dolphins for military purposes.
